Lila Goldstein

Lila Goldstein is a performer and composer from Long Island, NY. She is currently studying at the Jacobs School of Music and primarily composes art songs for voice and piano and arranges popular music. In addition to her work in composition, Lila actively performs in theater and opera. Her dedication to both composition and performance highlights her passion for music in various forms at the Jacobs School of Music. Originally from Long Island, New York, Lila's musical journey began at a young age with voice lessons commencing at only nine years old.

During her formative years, Lila's passion for music blossomed through active participation in numerous theatrical productions and dedicated training at the Manhattan School of Music's precollege program. Presently, Lila holds the pivotal role of Music Director of Hooshir A Capella, the esteemed Jewish A Capella group at Indiana University.

Adding to her impressive repertoire, Lila is an integral part of the Grammy-nominated Singing Hoosiers and the chamber ensemble ResoluSHion. Her creative energies are channeled into composing art songs for voice and piano, crafting choral pieces, and curating masterful arrangements for A Capella ensembles.
